of the Odd Fellow Degrees
The lectures and charges currently used in Odd Fellow Lodges {I.O.O.F.} are not to be
found here. Such lectures and charges, like the Odd Fellows Degrees themselves, have changed with time.
What appear here are commentaries on the lectures and charges which appeared
in
The Odd Fellow's Pocket Manual, whose preface is dated
September 1, 1853.

These are not exactly the lectures and charges used at that
time, but they are close. We present them to educate and to inspire those
who are open to such instruction. We also do so in the spirit of openness,
so that all that rightfully
can be known about our Order will be available to spiritual students who seek such sublime instruction. They also stand as a historic resource for the contemporary members of the Order.
